On March 2, the Delegation of Asia began an on going formation itinerary with the theme 'Growing as a person in Community'. The online presentation to introduce the topic was given by Maribel Sánchez and all the communities of the Delegation were connected. Before introducing the topic to the sisters, she shared her own initial experiences of her vocational process and the different encounters with the sisters of Consolation. She shared that on one occasion when speaking with a sister she said: "How much I wish you were my sister!" This remained in her heart and with this she emphasized the importance of our identity of BEING SISTERS.
She explained about the dynamics of relationships and the meaning of being sisters. At one point in the presentation we heard the song 'Los demás' by Alberto Cortez and here we had a moment to reflect and share the content of the lyrics through the zoom chat. The presentation continued with a brief explanation of what the first handout of this topic contains, which will be worked by parts in the communities.
Who am I? My potentiality v/s my vulnerability. Sr. Ana María Perea also explained that in the first stage the reflection will be personal, then with the second stage there will be community meetings taking advantage of the fact that Maribel will make the fraternal visit to all the communities in Asia and finally an online intercommunity stage in the month of June to close the topic. We thank Maribel for her contribution and the formation team of the Delegation that together with her have been in charge of organizing it.
