Training meeting “Around the Word"
Today, Saturday, September 13, the Consolation Family of the Province of the Andes —sisters and lay people - participated in the formation meeting “Around the Word”, within the framework of the Consolation Jubilee.
The space was animated by Marta García, nsc, who helped us to deepen the strength of the Word of God as a living organism that invites us to relationship, that mobilizes and challenges us, making us prophets of consolation from the relational dimension.
In the light of the orientations of the Nineteenth General Chapter, which called us to return to the Word, we discovered the urgency of deploying the relational and prophetic force of the charism of consoling. To console means to return the breath, to give oneself, to set out on a journey in relation to the Source, to receive God's deep breath in order to give life again.
On this path we recognized that the prophecy of consolationimpels us to rebuild the social fabric and cauterize wounds. Consoling is as challenging as denouncing, because it is not easy to lift up the fallen human being, but that is our mission as a Consolation Family.
With gratitude we continue accompanying each other on this journey of deepening, prayer and communion, which encourages us to live the charism we have received with fidelity and joy.
