Last August 7, the Missionary Animation Team of the Province of the Andesconvened the entire Consolation family to an enriching virtual formation meeting, which was lived in a fraternal and participatory way.
The central reflection was in charge of Fr. Luis Alberto Nahuelanca, who developed the theme “The mission of announcing Christ the Comforter today", illuminated by the breathes of the Spirit and in tune with the times of Pope Leo XIV.
Starting from a fragment of the Evangelii Gaudium that recalls:
"Evangelizing in present times means entering into the grace of a new ecclesial time: the hour of a new transformation of the Church, which entails redirecting all the forces of our discipleship back to the ever-current task of mission, joyful proclamation of the Gospel, heart of the Christian faith." (EG 22)
Fr. Luis Alberto Nahuelanca invited us to live the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness, to let our witness have “the smell of the Gospel of mercy” and to be part of a missionary discipleship open to dialogue “without borders and with everyone,” in continuity between the magisterium of Pope Leo XIV and Pope Francis.
It was a time to renew missionary enthusiasm, to let ourselves be impelled by the Spirit and to walk together as an outgoing Church.
