On May 10-11, the Hyehwa-dong area of ​​Jongno-gu, Seoul, was filled with 20,000 young people.

The 2027 Seoul World Youth Day (WYD) Local Organizing Committee hosted the ‘Youth Festival Hee hee hee’ on this day, inviting young people to a place of hospitality and solidarity. ‘Hee hee hee’ is a place to showcase the values ​​pursued by the upcoming 2027 Seoul WYD, ‘Truth’, ‘Peace’, and ‘Love’ through various rites, performances, experience booths, and permanent exhibitions.

On the first day, a talk concert will be held where young people can openly share their concerns in their daily lives and faith. ‘OSEYO (Come), where the religious order introduces rich spirituality and Catholic culture to both believers and non-believers, will also be held for two days.

On the second day, various popular and eco-friendly events will be held, such as calligraphy, finding personal colors, donating hematopoietic stem cells, and making keychains using recycling materials. It is to widely publicize that the 2027 Seoul WYD is not an event exclusive to a specific religion, but a public event that talks about the hopes of young people and builds awareness as a community entity living together.
