During the days of November 01 to 06, 2024, 18 sisters from the four countries of the María Rosa Molas province gathered to participate in the II Extraordinary ASSEMBLY, held at our house in El Junquito, Venezuela.
We were invited to turn our gaze and heart to the passage from Isaiah: Get up on a high mountain, joyful messenger of consolation, make your voice resound and tell them: There is your God!
From the perspective of the biblical author we are allowed to visualize a vivid image of a messenger who, from the top of a mountain, proclaims a good news: the presence of God!
MONTE JUNQUITO) This meeting place and everything that made up this experience has represented spiritual elevation, the closeness of a God who comforts, cares and loves, and the call to fix one's gaze on high, on earthly realities from Faith.
MESSENGER OF CONSOLATION SISTERS) Your prophetically liberated voices resounded with joy and hope, transmitting the certainty of the divine presence in a world marked by suffering and uncertainty. Messengers who, from self-care, caring for the other and their capacity to GENERATE LIFE, share and challenge with the living testimony of the joy of the Gospel, capable of instilling hope in the hearts of others.
"THERE'S YOUR GOD!":The Presence of a comforting God, the God of promise. In spite of... he is always present, close and ready to comfort. For us an anchor of hope and for our brothers and sisters the possibility of making it visible in our actions.
The invitation to "climb a high mountain" is a call to a renewed consecration so that they may have life!!!, a life centered on God that is nourished from life in renewed and reconciled community for the MISSION. We become signs of hope when we get closer and closer to the ideal of a Economy of the Common Good, solidary, sustainable and sustainable. When we cultivate self-care and well-being to take care. When Obedience starts from the profound art of being disciples who listen to God's will every morning and act accordingly and from a transformative leadership that renews our commitment to the mission. Without a doubt it is a possible experience of the fine art of RENOVATION, RECONSTRUCTION AND RESTORATION; FEELING CALLED TO BE BEARERS OF THE GOOD NEWS OF GOD'S SALVATION AND CONSOLATION.
