The density of the Chapter Cenacle increases as we delve into core issues that affect our life and mission, permanently invoking the strength and wisdom of the Spirit, from which we try not to disconnect at any time. The messages of adhesion that we receive, the daily Eucharist, the natural and festive fellowship become a communion force, which do not detract from the seriousness and depth of each reflection, but rather helps to sustain a creative tension of commitment and service to the Congregation and to the Church.

The Coordinating Commission wisely guides the moments to work in the communities of life with the synodal methodology of generative conversations, which allow us to listen to each other and speak responsibly, in three rounds, in order to reach consensus in the last one, which is then shared in the plenary sessions, rich in content and active participation.

Two main nuclei: Unfolding the relational strength of the charism in the key of care and Unfolding the prophetic strength of the charism at the service of the mission of the Church.

Three big themes :

  • Economy: What lines of action should we not lose and take into account following the Chapter reflection and the proposals received from the provincial chapters and the sisters?
  • Formation: What concerns us and what do we propose in this area?
  • Shared leadership: How to advance in a more synodal experience in the authority-obedience binomial?

From each nucleus and theme, there are documents collected by the redaction commission that will be used for the final discernment, after looking at and discussing the proposals considered as such to be treated and voted by the Chapter Assembly.

On Sunday, December 3th , we will go on an outing to Viterbo and Tuscania with the Generalate community to recharge our batteries and clear our minds.

On December 5th we will have a spiritual retreat offered by Fr. Fernando Mendoza, sj. to prepare us for the election of the Superior General which will be the following day: December 6th.

We continue to count on the prayers of the entire Consolation Family in this time of grace, so that the Lord may give us fruits of new sap, and that we may continue to offer to the Church and society our updated charism for today's history.
