On Wednesday, the 12th, the Mass was celebrated in honor of Santa María Rosa Molas in the Mother Church of Areado, MG. During the Mass, the first degree relic of Santa María Rosa Molas, a fragment of her bone, was deposited on the already dedicated altar of the Mother Church, which the parish received from the congregation as a present in the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Sisters of Consolation to Areado.
The practice of having relics on or under the altar is rooted in the communion of saints, in the veneration of saints and in the continuity of tradition within the Church.
May St. Maria Rosa Molas continue to intercede for the parish, for the city of Areado and for the entire Consolación Family.
