In our efforts to promote our school and reach more families, we have taken the initiative to visit various areas in the first week of May. For three days, we roamed from place to place, encourage the parents and guardians to consider enrolling their children into our school.
This outreach not only opened doors for new students but also it an opportunity to encounter opened with different families and know the situation they face. These encounters challenging us to step out of our comfort zones and truly engage with others in their lived situations.
As a result of our collective efforts, Proyekto Makopa officially began the school year 2025–2026 on June 2, 2025, with a total of 38 enrolled students:

At present, Teacher Eloisa is handling the class as we continue to seek an additional teacher to join our mission.
Through the collaboration of our staff and the support of the community, we are united in the joyful task of raising and educating these young learners with care and compassion.
As classes began, our first priority was helping the children feel safe and welcomed in their new environment. For the first two days, we focused on building relationship by introducing ourselves and spending time playing with toys—creating a warm and nurturing atmosphere for them to adjust and feel at home.
