On September 4th, the Solemnity of Our Lady of Consolation, the sisters of the Delegation of Asia gathered online to celebrate their feast together with the liturgy of Vespers. Each community was responsible for preparing a moment, and in the various languages that make up the Delegation, we united in spirit and communion around our Mother of Consolation.
After this precious moment of prayer, there was a spontaneous space to share and listen to each other's thoughts about how the communities are doing and what each one is doing.
An expression says, "Knowing more is to love more." It is certainly true. Listening to and learning about others allows us to take an interest in what others are doing, to ask questions, and above all, to accompany them with prayer. It matters to us while also encouraging and giving us strength in our own challenges.
We continue to trust in the intercession of our Mother of Consolation so that she may continue to be our companion on the journey, even in the physical distance between communities and in situations that are so diverse.
May she continue to teach us and motivate us to care for the communion among us.
