On March 21, on the eve of the celebration of the birth of Saint Maria Rosa Molas, the ceremony of laying the first stone of the Our Lady of Consolation Residence, the future home of the elder sisters in Brazil, took place. The residence will be located in the city of Areado and represents a significant step in the mission of the congregation.
Relics of great spiritual value were deposited in the capsule of the foundation stone: a relic of Santa María Rosa Molas, another of Sister María Teresa González Justo, a small image of Our Lady Aparecida and fragments of the Grotto of the Annunciation, brought from Jerusalem by Father Leandro.
The ceremony was attended by Father Leandro, the Sisters of the Consolation, the Laity of the Consolation, the construction team and the faithful of the San Sebastián de Areado Parish.
This project symbolizes a commitment to the care and well-being of older sisters, ensuring a space of welcome and spirituality.
