From different corners of our American continent — Chile, Brazil, Venezuela and Ecuador — five sisters have begun a profoundly significant formative experience in our religious life: a stage of spiritual and community renewal, in the heart of our Congregation, in the beloved house of La Lomita de la Virgen, in Villa Allende, Argentina.
We begin this journey with gratitude and hope, from the hand of God, the Virgin Mary and Santa Maria Rosa Molas, women who continue to inspire us to live fidelity with joy and dedication. We know that only together with God is it possible to find true happiness in the consecrated life, and that is why, with confidence, we set out on March 3 to begin this adventure of faith, formation and encounter.
It has been a time of grace, of stopping to resume our lives in the hands of God, and of starting a process of conversion that challenges us, awakens us and comforts us. We are deeply grateful to the General Government for betting on these spaces of renewal that confirm our “Here I am, Lord! and to each of our communities who have trusted in us, knowing that what remains in the mission is also in faithful hands.
The daily reflection on our Constitutions has been a true encounter with the Spirit, which invites us to rediscover with new eyes the beauty and responsibility of our vocation. Sitting in fraternity, dialoguing and praying from each chapter, we feel that the charism of Consolation becomes life and mission in us.
We have also lived the classes at CEFYT with joy. Every subject, every teacher, has been a blessing: an opportunity to grow as consecrated women, in humanity and dedication, strengthening our option to follow Jesus radically from our apostolic realities.
And as if that were not enough, God has given us moments of profound spirituality: a community walk to Villa Cura Brochero, where the presence of the holy priest infected us with his apostolic audacity and confirmed that holiness is possible in the small. In Río Cuarto, another community received us with generosity and warmth, making it visible that the charism is still alive and that God continues to work wonders through simple gestures.
The experience culminated — or rather, reached its halfway point — with a few days of Spiritual Exercises, guided with wisdom and tenderness by Fr. Virginio, a Dehonian. They were days of silence, deep prayer and meeting God face to face. There, in the desert of the heart, we confirm once again that God's love is real, it is present and it is the only one that sustains our vocation.
Today we follow this path with joy and hope, knowing that what we have lived is a fruitful seed. We are infinitely grateful to all the sisters who, with their prayer and closeness, have been part of this transformative experience.
"Everything for the glory of God and the good of the sisters, nothing for us."
Santa María Rosa Molas.
