From July 16 to August 14, the community of sisters in Morelia (Mexico) joyfully welcomed three young women who chose to live the experience of international Consolation volunteering. For a month, they shared their time, talents, and generous dedication in different mission areas.

The volunteers collaborated in the summer camp, accompanying children and pre-teens aged 4 to 12 in educational and recreational activities. They also supported the solidarity bazaar, helping to organize and distribute clothes, shoes, and accessories to families in need. In addition, they contributed to parent formation and accompanied the COM group of adolescents and young people, building bonds of friendship and hope.

The community deeply valued the effort of these young women, who left their city and country of origin to serve with generosity and openness. They also walked the roads of Michoacán and visited some magical towns, carrying with them not only cultural memories but above all the experience of sharing life and faith with the community.

With gratitude, the sisters expressed a heartfelt thank you! to volunteers Mar, Meri, and Selena, as well as to the COM youth and Heidi, who joined this volunteering experience in Morelia.

This shared time became a true testimony of solidarity and fraternity, and an encouragement for other young people to offer their lives in service, being consolation in daily life.
