With Ash Wednesday, we begin the journey of Lent. Forty days of Exodus in which we leave behind the desert and slavery to head towards the oasis, the love and hope of God.
Lent is a time of conversion, of recollection and reflection for creation and the flash of a new hope that, as Pope Francis says, “goes hand in hand with faith and charity.”
Let us have the necessary courage to begin this journey of conversion.
