On April 10th in the community of Žilina, Slovakia we had the joy of sharing with our sister Anežka Gúberová the third renewal of her vows. This year on a weekday, in the midst of the daily chores, we were able to share a beautiful celebration with her in the community chapel.
It was a close and very familiar Eucharist in which, as the priest emphasized, many of those who participated it was the first time they were in a renewal of vows.
The small group made up of Anež's relatives, young people, volunteers, people close to the sisters of Nitra, the other community of Slovakia, we accompany with love this renewed Yes of Anež, Yes that life is made every day, at work, in the community, pastoral, life.
In the homily, the priest in a small dialogue with the assembly reminded us all that Consecration is that being totally of God, because He is the one who is closest to our heart, the one who fills it and is faithful to him and that God's Love is the one that grows when we love ourselves and our brothers and sisters.
We give thanks for this Yes from our sister, a Yes to be Consolation bringing that embrace of God to those with whom we share life.
