In an atmosphere of profound joy, gratitude, and fraternity, the Silver Jubilee of Religious Life of Sister Doris María Romero Aguirre was celebrated, giving thanks to God for her 25 years of consecrated life dedicated to the service of the Gospel through the charism of Consolation.
The Eucharistic celebration of thanksgiving brought together family members, Sisters of the Congregation, school staff, friends, and guests who wished to share in this meaningful occasion. The Eucharist was inspired by the message of Pentecost, reminding all present that the Holy Spirit continues to strengthen, encourage, and renew the vocation of those who generously respond to God's call.
During the homily, special emphasis was placed on the importance of living with a heart open to the action of the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to guide one's life and mission. The call to bring hope, service, and unity to others was highlighted, following the example of Jesus Christ and the legacy of Saint Maria Rosa Molas.
In a particularly moving moment, Sister Doris María expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God for the gift of her vocation, to the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation for the journey shared together, to her family for their constant support, and to the school staff, friends, and guests whose presence made the celebration even more meaningful.
The community gave thanks for Sister Doris María’s witness of fidelity, generosity, and service throughout these twenty-five years of Religious Life and prayed that the Lord may continue to bless her vocation and accompany her mission in service to the Church and to those most in need.
