On the afternoon of April 26, the sisters of the Province gathered online for a formation meeting organized by the Provincial Formation Team under the theme: “Returning to the Mother and the First Sisters.” The session was facilitated by Sr. Mª José Gan, historian of the Congregation.
The meeting offered a journey of memory and reflection, inviting the participants to return to the roots of the charism in order to rediscover, in today’s context, the spiritual richness handed on by the Foundress Mother and the first sisters.
The idea of “returning” was presented as a path similar to that of the disciples of Emmaus: walking, rereading one’s lived history, and returning transformed, with renewed hearts and a deeper openness to God’s action.
Through the shared reflection, the sisters deepened the importance of keeping the charism alive, not simply as remembrance of the past, but as a source of inspiration for living the mission today with fidelity, creativity, and hope.
The gathering became a space of formation, gratitude, and communion, helping to renew vocational identity and strengthen the commitment to continue the mission of consolation in today’s world.
