“How can I repay the Lord for all the good He has done for me?” (Psalm 115). With these words, Sister Flor experienced one of the most significant moments of her vocational journey: the celebration of her Perpetual Vows, making her definitive “yes” to God and to the mission of being an instrument of His mercy and consolation.
On September 12, during a deeply moving celebration, Sister Flor made her perpetual profession in a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Bishop Jorge Aníbal Quintero Chacón, Bishop of the Diocese of Barcelona.
The celebration brought together the Sisters from the different communities in Venezuela, accompanied by Sister Verónica María González, Provincial Superior, as well as Flor’s family members and members of the Saint Lucy Parish community, who joyfully shared in this very special occasion.
During the celebration, Flor publicly expressed her desire to give her life to God and to the service of others forever, embracing the call to be a presence of mercy and consolation wherever the mission may lead her.
Perpetual profession is a moment of special significance in the life of a religious woman and for the entire Congregation. It expresses a mature and definitive response to God’s love, embodied in a life of self-giving, availability, and service.
Flor’s “yes” thus becomes an act of thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness and a sign of hope for the entire Consolation Family. Her self-gift reminds us that vocation is built each day through trust, availability, and the desire to place one’s life at the service of God and others.
The María Rosa Molas Province gives thanks to God for the gift of Flor’s vocation and joins in her joy as she takes this new step on her journey of consecration.
May her “yes” forever continue to be a generous response to God’s love and a testimony of mercy, consolation, and hope for all those to whom she will be sent.
