THE PERPETUAL RELIGIOUS PROFESSION OF SR. ESTHER NI LAR SHWE
“Lord… I am here to walk with you forever…”
We give thanks to God for this very day, October 25 2025, on which Sr. Esther Ni Lar
Shwe made her Perpetual Religious Profession, pronouncing the vows of Chastity, Poverty
and Obedience, as a full member of the Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation.
The celebration was held in Saints Peter and Paul Parish in the presence of the sisters
in the Yangon community, accompanied by Sr. Carmen Villalon Letelier, Superior of the
Delegation of Asia; together with Sr. Esther’s family, religious women and men from
different congregations, benefactors and volunteers. The Holy Mass was presided over by
Bishop Raymond Wai Lin Htun concelebrated with Bishop Noel Saw Naw Aye, Auxiliary
Bishops of the Archdiocese of Yangon.
This event signifies the growth of the seed of Consolation in Myanmar. May God,
through the intercession of St. Maris Rosa Molas and our martyred sisters, make her an
instrument of mercy, Consolation and peace to all her people and to whom she will serve and
help her be faithful to her vocation until the end.
