Before the beginning of the holidays, the Elementary and Secondary students of the Notre Dame de la Consolation School in Safané celebrated the birth of Jesus in advance and carried him in their hearts during these days of interruption of classes. This was done with Christmas drawings, decorations but also cultural activities.
The activities were preceded by a Mass presided by the chaplain, Father AKA Damián. He encouraged the students to fully experience the joy of Christmas in their environment and imitate the virtues of the Child Jesus. Jesus is inserted into our human reality as Alpha and Omega, thus marking the end of one year and the beginning of another. It is this spirit that encourages students, teachers and sisters who return from vacation to start a new semester full of enthusiasm and hope for the presence of Jesus, “God with us”, in this year 2024.
May Emmanuel continue to bless this school year and allow us to reap the fruits of this quarter walking with Jesus, Prince of peace for the world.
