World Mission Day 2024
Pope Francis encourages religious and laity to walk the path of synodality together on this Day.
The fulfillment of the Mission requires the commitment of everyone. Everyone, without excluding anyone, is co-responsible and equally important in the task of inviting all humanity to the encounter and communion with God.
How to do it? Each one contributing with what he does best. Every Christian is called to participate in this universal mission with his own evangelical witness in every environment.
As in the gospel parable, Go and invite everyone to the banquet (cf. Mt 22,9), let us call everyone to the divine banquet where, in communion with God and with others, joy, sharing, justice and fraternity reign.
Let us pray that the Church will continue to support by all means a synodal lifestyle, under the sign of co-responsibility, promoting participation, communion and the shared mission between religious and laity.
Let us pray and thank God for the new and numerous missionary vocations dedicated to the work of evangelization to the ends of the earth.
