Induction Day for Teachers of La Consolación
On Saturday, October 25, the Induction Day for newly incorporated Teachers was held at the Nuestra Señora de la Consolación School in Villa Santa Rosa, San Juan, Argentina, with the active participation of educators who have joined our community from before the pandemic to the present.
The day unfolded in an atmosphere of joy, camaraderie, and a deep sense of belonging. Throughout the morning, the teachers shared activities, reflections, and opportunities for dialogue that were highly valued and appreciated by all.
Under the inspiring phrase "we are heirs and custodians of a treasure," participants were invited to recognize, care for, and increase the legacy received: the charism of Consolation , a gift from Saint Mary Rose Molas and the first sisters, which remains alive in every educational community where the mission flourishes.
During the day, we explored some fundamental aspects of our institutional identity in greater depth:
-
The importance of becoming aware of our way of seeing and acting as educators.
-
The need to observe broadly , focus on what is essential, and work as a team with a sense of shared mission.
-
The characteristics of the pedagogy of Consolation , centered on the person, mercy and integral promotion.
-
The unique character and educational insights of María Rosa Molas as inspiration for our daily work.
-
The educational community as a space of bonds, trust and co-responsibility.
-
Educational management understood as animation, care of processes and accompaniment of people.
The day concluded with a moment of thanksgiving prayer , in which we together expressed gratitude for the treasure received and for the call to continue sharing it.
Then, each teacher made a personal gesture of commitment , symbolizing the choice and dedication with which each member of the educational community wishes to continue the mission of educating by consoling .
