On October 10, the Consolation Family joyfully celebrated the first religious profession of Yuritzi Rubio Núñez, from Mexico, and Camila Quinteros, from Argentina, as they took a new step in their journey of consecration as Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation.

Both completed their novitiate in Mexico City, a time of formation, discernment and growth in which they deepened their call to follow Jesus and live out the charism of Consolation.

The celebration took place at San Felipe Protomártir Parish, where Yuritzi and Camila made their first religious vows before God and the community. Their profession was received by Sr. Verónica González, Provincial Superior of the María Rosa Molas Province, in an atmosphere of prayer, joy and thanksgiving.

For Yuritzi, the Gospel chosen for this special day — “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven” (Mt 5:3) — expressed in a special way her desire to live this new stage with simplicity, trust in God and self-giving.

The first profession of Yuritzi and Camila is a source of joy and thanksgiving for the entire Consolation Family. Their stories remind us that every vocation has its own journey, with questions, concerns and moments of discernment, but also with the certainty that it is worthwhile to respond when we discover Jesus’ call.

We give thanks to God for their lives and vocations, entrusting them to Him, that He may accompany them in this new stage of their journey as religious women and help them to live each day with fidelity and generosity the mission they have received.
