In a world in need of peace, we want to pause and remember the story of Mother Maria Rosa Molas, who with her deep faith and dedication was a sower of comfort and reconciliation.
Throughout her life of service to the needy, one of her most remarkable moments was in 1844, when the city of Reus was being bombarded by the troops of Martín Zurbano. María Rosa Molas stood before the general and pleaded for peace for her people.
We are called to sow consolation through our words and actions. May the life of the Mother serve as an inspiration for us to live with dedication, love, and humanity.
